Subtle New Moon energy encourages us to stay in, cosy up and rest. Our body maybe be resting, but it’s super busy time for our minds. Dreaming, planning, visualising - it's like planting the metaphorical seed
Intentions carry an energy, but did you ever thought what KIND of energy it is?
Most common resolutions/ intentions are to start doing something, to stop doing something or to change something. These resolution are very Yang in their nature - but everything in this world needs to be balanced - including ourselves. That’s why today I want to gently encourage you to set some Yin intentions.
Many of us treat January the 1st as new beginning, chance to better yourself, start fresh, draw a big, tick line under the last year.
So what are things you should do in 2019 to start this year right (and continue on the right patch)? In this blog post I put together 10 things which are necessary to make the best of 2019 and all of the coming years!
Full Moon is a time when our energy is at it's peak, therefore we might feel energised, but also slightly off the balance, getting upset easily and feel super emotional for no reason. It's totally normal, as many of us allow our inner Wild Woman come to the fore.
How to harness this energy for our benefit? Three words: grounding, meditation and releasing.
If you feel frustrated, tired all the time, struggle to fall asleep (even you are super tired!) it's time to say: "I need a little bit of space and time for myself". If your partner or children are not used to this, it might come as a shock to them.
NO - you are not selfish, NO - you are not abandoning anybody.
You just need to re-charge your batteries. In ideal world we would hop into the plain and go away for a week to lay on the beach and enjoy exotic drinks without hearing questions like "Mum, have you seen my other sock" or "Honey, have you washed my work shirt?". But realistically not many of us can do it.
Our daily workload at our jobs and homes can be overwhelming. We are desperately trying to complete all of our tasks at work, be good parents, have a nice clean house, cook healthy nutritional meals for our families - but hey! We only have 24 hrs in our day (and we need at least 7-8 hours to sleep!) (..)
Remember - you can't pour from empty cup, so take care about yourself first in order to be able to care of others.
